Jim is taking care of a friend's cats and lost one.  His wife informed him they are getting a new pet....a snake!
 
 
Renee, a tentative new member is almost through with her deck....She is doing it all by herself...You go girl! 
 
Joann's son is going back to collage....Now there's something to be happy about! 
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
The District Governor is going to be visiting our luncheon meeting on September 11th.
 
  There are still four openings for the Beer Booth at the Seafood festival....Please sign up and have your friends and family sign up also...as long as they are over 21 years old we would love to have them. 
 
The Pappenfus's are getting ready to celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary....Congratulations!!!  
 
  Sandi Lee will be the greeter next week...Sandi also picked the solid marble and won $299...WhoooHooo!

The Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County has formed the Business Enhancement Support Team to develop and implement strategies that support economic vitality and business growth.  The team consists of a group of handpicked service providers that are prepared to deliver quality services to meet the needs of the small business community.

 The process involves the team Manager conducting an initial assessment of the businesses needs.  After initial evaluation, the appropriate partners are contacted to participate in a resource sharing meeting that is designed to connect business owners to resources that can help sustain and grow their businesses. 

 The BESTeam expands and enhances the relationship between the Workforce Development Board, Economic Development, and the Business Community throughout Contra Costa County.
