Speakers
Rotary Brother Larry, Vice Chair of the Community
Advisory Commission; Theresa Miller, Chair of the
Community Advisory Commission.
Larry and Theresa gave a sobering presentation of
the importance of being prepared in these perilous
times. Pittsburg is far behind other cities in
preparedness. We were encouraged to contact our
mayor and advocate for getting our community
organized. With terrorist threats, infrastructure
failures, earthquakes and hazardous materials
deliveries in our community, we cannot afford to
delay preparing. Steps we can take as individuals:
1. Contact our Mayor
3. Prepare a 7-day emergency survival kit for your
family.
4. Form a Business Neighborhood Watch.
Lunch
Shrimp salad or fish and chips and cake.
Thoughts and Prayers: Keep the Zandonella and
Casey families close to our hearts and in our
thoughts and prayers. Visitation for Fosca
Zandonella is Friday Aug 11, commencing at 5pm with
a vigil service at 7:30 at Queen of All Saints
Church, 2390 Grant St. Concord. Funeral Aug. 11 at
10am.
