Bruce
called
the
meeting
to
order.

Bruce
gave
the
invocation.
Happy
Dollars
Richard
was
camping
last
week
and
went
to
Fort
Bragg.
His
daughter,
Erin
got
sick
with
what
they
were
afraid
might
be
the
measles...luckily
as
it
turned
out
it
was
a
viral
infection
which
was
easily
dealt
with.
Linda
watched
the
History
Detectives
and
said
that
someone
found
old
papers
signed
by
Presidents.
Diana
was
so
happy
that
her
husband
Dave
finally
moved
the
giant
rocks.
Mike
thanked
Stan,
Sandi,
Joanne
and
Ron
for
helping
serve
lunch
Saturday
for
the
Eddie
Hart
Olympic
Clinic....Here
are
a
few
pictures
from
that
even:
Mike
also
thanked
Stan
for
the
Angelica
Laundry.
Julie's
daughter
met
her
first
boyfriend
on a
trip
to
Washington
and

got
to
meet
him.

also
starts
her
new
job
tomorrow.

that
we
can
all
plan
to
attend...it
will
really
be a
great
time!
Everyone...put
this
on
your
calendar.....
Stan
announced
the
boat
ride
to
the
demotion
party....as
of
now
there
are
15
people
signed
up
and
there
is
room
for
a
few
more
people....We
need
to
know
definitely
by
Thursday
so
we
will
have
the
right
size
limo
to
bring
us
back. For
the
ones
that
have
signed
up...please
bring
something
to
eat
or
drink
on
the
way...Finger
food
would
be
the
best....You
can
let
Sandi
or
Stan
know
what
you
are
bringing
so
there
will
be a
nice
variety...or
you
can
simply
reply
to
this
e-mail.
Speaker

spoke
on
the
USS
Hornet
The
aircraft
carrier
USS
HORNET
is a
national
treasure,
having
participated
in two
of the
greatest
events
of the
20th
century
-- World
War II
and the
Apollo
11
manned
space
mission.
Now
peacefully
moored
at
historic
Alameda
Point on
San
Francisco
Bay, the
USS
HORNET
is a
timeless
memorial
to those
who
defended
our
American
values
and to
those
who have
pursued
America's
technological
advancements.
Whether
its
mission
was
projecting
military
might in
times of
war or
supporting
technological
achievements
in space
exploration,
the
USS
HORNET
has
continually
maintained
"A
Heritage
of
Excellence."
The
USS
HORNET
MUSEUM
proudly
enters
the new
millennium
with the
goal of
educating
and
inspiring
both
young
and old
with
respect
to the
challenges
of the
past and
possibilities
for the
future.
Join us
in the
preservation
of this
living
