Julie said Suzy (our waitress) is looking for a job...anyone that knows of something available should contact her....

 

Caryn is now a member of the literacy committee of Pittsburg and they told her that our Rotary Club is doing so much for literacy.  She also asked about the status of the suggested fundraiser projects and then she told a joke...

 

Diana read a letter from one of the recipients of the Spanish American Dictionaries.

 

Mike showed where the donations went to in Matawi.

Linda is happy to be back from China even though she had a wonderful time.

 

Joanne did her first booth this year at the Farmers' Market.

 

Julie took her kids to see Beach Blanket Bingo and was happily surprised that they really enjoyed it! 

 

 

Marlin who is an American Red Cross CPR trainer said 300 people came for training and got certified.

 

Jim told Wayne that he has a seat belt hanging out of his car....

 

 

Diana announced that Richard had his car broken into during one of the meetings...he is not the first one....Sandi had hers broken into and they ripped out her GPS system....

Small Business Marketing Presentations and Workshops
...my way of giving back to my community

Small business has served me well. Among several small business endeavors, I was an educational contractor of Small Business and Technology at universities and colleges throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. I am also a former property manager, web-contractor to California agricultural concerns, and have run a sales, service and support business for Model 100 computer owners worldwide for the last 25 years.

Through it all, I learned and applied the basics of marketing. I discovered that there are just a few basics that if practiced thoughtfully yield dependable results. Yet I also know that the basics of marketing a small business is not well known. To this end, I decided to help through public speaking and workshops, all at no charge.

What I have to present is not rocket science and it's not extensive. The basics can be covered in 30 minutes in a presentation to service clubs or any interested group. My 2-hour workshop presents the basics and then focuses on two vital areas; the marketing plan and A.I.D.A., a guideline for creating catchy presentations such as ads.
