Diana had a shower for her daughter-in-law and was in complete amazement at all the new baby gadgets.

 

 Mike and Barbara had 28 people for Easter Dinner...whew!!!

 

Susan is happy to be back serving us our lunch and also has a new job working at Bing Crosby's in Walnut Creek....Glad to have you back Susie!!!!

 

 Caryn was happy to announce that her sweetie, Curt, is picking up his fourth stretch limo this week. (I'm happy about it too!!!) It is a white Dodge Charger. The fleet is growing....WhooHooo!

 

Van has a friend who is celebrating his 100th Birthday by driving a boat and a car at 100 MPH.... Way to go!!!!!

 

Announcements

 

Mike reminded us of the Winter Island trip Saturday May 10th.  The cost is $50.  Sounds like a lot of fun....Let's all try to make it...

 

 Mike also told us that you can get the  Golf Tourney raffle tickets you are going to sell from Caryn.  You can turn the proceeds and the stubs into Caryn also.
 

Everybody.....get your recipes into Sandi as soon as you can....They should be in no later then April 17th....Yummmmm!!!

 

 

Assembly Meeting

 

Bruce talked about what he learned at PETS which stands for President Elect Training Seminar. He pointed out 4 major programs that he would like to have in place before his term is up.

1. Fellowship - Have 4 social functions a year.
2. Someone appointed to train new members on what Rotary is all about.
3. Develop a 3 year plan.
4. 3 major fundraisers a year.

 

Marlin will be the greeter next week.
