Bruce called the meeting to order and gave the invocation.

 

Guests: Heather Ingram, owner of 100 passenger yacht that is docked at the Pittsburg Marina and

Ryan Rezentes, an army Staff Sgt. With the US Army and receiver of a Bronze Star.

Mike is happy to be back at the meetings and he publicly thanked our Mayor Will Casey for pitching in with the Golf Tournament.

 

 

Barbara was elated to announce that the Pittsburg High School marching band will be in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2009.

 

Wayne had good and bad news.....Good first....His Metropolitan got best in show at a car show in Arizona. Not so good news...He parked his motor home near a river and had to move it at 3am because of a flash flood.....Worse news...While driving his Ford Explorer he got in a major accident and was hospitalized....So glad to see you in one piece Wayne!

Diana invited everyone to the Rotary Club of West Calaveras's 5th Annual "Savour the Flavour" Wine Tasting and Live Auction.  It will take place at Bear Flag Vineyard, 11488 Milton Rd., Valley Springs, CA, Saturday, June 7, 2008 2:30 PM to 6:00pm.  $30.00 per person.

 

Sandi said the cookbook deadline is extended for 2-3 more weeks.  We have plenty of main course dishes but are in need of appetizers, breakfasts, desserts and side dishes.
