Richard is involved with Men's over 30 Basketball twice a week and is happy to be active.

 

Jim found a baby blue jay under his car and force fed it and revived it and set it free and now the bird's Mom and Dad take care of him.

 

 

Joanne and Dewitt went to Las Vegas and had a great time.

 

Don said this is his last visit to Pittsburg Rotary as Assistant District Governor.

 

Mike has a deal with his grandson to give him money for his good grades and his grades were so good this term that he had to give him $60.  Good going!

 

Richard did a tax analysis and it got him an article in the Sand Francisco Chronicle.

 

Van had an article and a picture in the paper regarding the Marina.

Diana reminded us of the 4th Annual Wine Tasting  for LMC.  It is Saturday at the Antioch Historical Society between 3 and 6 PM.

 

  The Winter Island trip has been cancelled!

Alicia Mundy and Pam Taylor talk about their trip to Cuba.

 

Alicia visited her Cuban pen pal and saw the sites and learned about the strange politics of Cuba.

The portion of Cuba that tourists see is beautiful and the part that tourists don't see is run down and rural...No running water etc.  Pam went as a courier.  They told many interesting stories of their trip and how they ran out of cash and almost did not have enough money to pay for their exit visas.  They also told about their visit to the lepertorium.
