Brad says the City of Pittsburg is re-applying for the Enterprise Zone Program. Dorothy is happy Cal is ranked #3.
Announcements
Mike thinks the state of the economy affected the turnout for the golf tournament. The final figures are not in yet. The Boys and Girls Club staff did the recruiting. Mike thank volunteers: President Bruce, Dr. Jim, Marlon, Dorothy, Joanne, Sandi, Larry, Dr. Ron, Stan, and Van. Great Job Volunteers!  Julie says current roster is almost complete.

Mz. Slusser is one of three
people in the State who are
participating in a pilot program
involving Federal, State and County
officials. Bart is trained to alert her
if there are produce shipments. They
work in the sorting sites of UPS, DHL
and Fed Ex. Produce shipments can
contain insects that can be disastrous
to California's economy. Ms. Slusser
and Bart gave demonstrations. Many
questions were asked.
