Dictionaries Distribution for 3rd Graders

The Rotary Club of Pittsburg, together with Supervisor Federal Glover and the Keller Canyon Mitigation Trust Fund, have given a gift dictionary for the past twelve years to every third grade student in the City of Pittsburg.  In addition, the Club has also given a thesaurus to every ninth grade student at Pittsburg High School.

These "Gifts of Knowledge" are given to encourage a love of learning and literacy, increase the number of students graduating from high school and passing the California High School Exit Exam.
